𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙐𝙨 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢 𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮.

This is a Redmi mobile. customer comes to the shop and says when opens the mobile camera, “your device is overheating” and “WiFi, Bluetooth, hotspot will be turned off,” warning appering on the display.The technician took the mobile.The technician tells the customer that he will repair this mobile.
- Why this mobile heats up. Let’s check if it really heats up or not.
- first open the mobile back panel .
- If you open the back panel of the mobile and check, the lighting ic will heat up.
- If you open the camera, it looks like the picture above and the dailer is not working.
- Now separate the board from the mobile.
L𝚎𝚝 Us K𝚗𝚘𝚠 H𝚘𝚠 T𝚘 C𝚑𝚎𝚌𝚔 I𝚏 T𝚑𝚒𝚜 P𝚛𝚘𝚋𝚕𝚎𝚖 O𝚌𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚜 :-
- 1.8 V should be observed near the thermal circuit.
- This is the thermal circuit near the EMMC.
- A normal register and a pull-down register in this thermal circuit .
- As shown in the schematic, the normal register is comes v reg l 16 1.8V.
- After this voltage should be 0.2V to 0.8V between normal register and thermal register.
- There is a line called skin thermal, but that voltage should come on it.
- Only if this Voltage is reached, the problem of overheating of the device will not occur.
- This line called Skin Thermal goes to cpu.
- The same skin thermal line charging section goes to PMI 632.
- This skin thermal line belongs to the GPIO ( general perpose input and out put) section of PMI 632.
- How much voltage to get to this line should be 0.2 V and 0.8 V.

- Now let’s check if we are on the board.
- Once we have to remove the shield.The shield must be removed carefully or the components and prints will come off.
- We already know where the voltage 0.2 to 0.8 is missing, but this voltage goes to a processor and a capacitor next to the cpu next to the emmc.
- From there we need to put on a jumper.

- We have to check whether 1.8 V is coming or not where we have removed the shield.
- This 1.8 V should be given to the Thermal Circuit near the EMMC.
- Now we have to put on the jumper.
- After wearing the jumper, it is better to apply the up mask with white tape instead of not connecting to the ground.
- If this is not done, the same voltage will be supplied to the jumper, so there is a possibility of short circuit and touching the ground and the mobile will die.
- Now let’s check once.

- If this voltage is missing then we have device over heating problem.
- Let’s attach the mother board to your mobile and turn on the mobile.
- Mobile is turned on. now let’s turn on the camera.
- Earlier, if you turn on the camera, you get a warning that your device is overheating and the camera does not turn on.
- Now the camera is turned on as we can see in the below photo.
- problem is solved . customer is happy.
